MFK Dukla Banská Bystrica signed 27-year-old Slovak defender Kristián Vallo, who last played for Czech club Karviná. Vallo said after signing the contract that he was looking forward to the new challenge, as the last year was not ideal for him due to injuries and he did not have much playing practice. He also said he was looking forward to returning to Slovak pitches and believed that he would enjoy football in Dukla. Vallo has two caps for the Slovakian national team. His current market value is listed by Transfermarkt as €225k.
