The Colorado Rapids have acquired Canadian defender Kosi Thompson from Toronto FC, where he had been since February 2022. The deal is for $200k in General Allocation Money (GAM) upfront, with another $200k in potential add-ons, for a total of up to $400k. Thompson, 23, is in the final year of his contract and is expected to have an opportunity for more playing time in Colorado, having made 2 appearances for Toronto in the current Major League Soccer season.
