Puszcza Niepołomice announced the acquisition of Kosei Iwao, a 27-year-old Japanese forward, who formerly played for the third-tier club Siarka Tarnobrzeg. He has agreed to a one-year contract with the possibility of extending it for an additional year. Last season, Iwao was the second-highest scorer in his league group, having recorded 21 goals and 3 assists across 32 matches. His performance gained attention after an impressive showing in a cup match against Wisła Kraków, where he both scored and assisted. This transfer represents the seventh signing for Puszcza Niepołomice during the summer transfer window, under the leadership of coach Tomasz Tułacz. Iwao is expected to encounter new challenges as he prepares to make his debut in the first league, joining a team that was recently relegated from the Ekstraklasa.
