On Wednesday night, Mantova officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Greek centre-back Konstantinos Chrysopoulos from AEK on a loan deal which includes a purchase option. The move was considered necessary for the player to find more playing time, especially after AEK acquired Georgiev, as Chrysopoulos had only played for 202 minutes. The Italian club showed interest in the defender and completed the agreement quickly. The loan for the Greece U21 international, who has four caps, will run until June 30, 2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €600k.
