Konstantin Heide Transfer from Unterhaching to Hertha BSC
Hertha BSC has acquired goalkeeper talent Konstantin Heide from Unterhaching for a fee of 50,000 Euros. BILD has reported that Heide is entering into a three-year agreement with the club. The medical examination for the goalkeeper is set to take place tomorrow in Berlin. This acquisition comes in response to the exit of Robert Kwasigroch to Al-Markhiya SC and the shoulder injuries suffered by Tim Goller and Marius Gersbeck. At present, Dennis Smarsch remains the sole fit backup to the primary goalkeeper Tjark Ernst. Heide, who stands at 1.89 meters, is viewed as one of Germany's leading goalkeeping prospects and gained recognition by winning the U17 World Championship in Indonesia two years prior. He currently holds the position of first-choice goalkeeper for the U19 national team. In the previous season, he began as the main goalkeeper for Unterhaching in the 3. Liga but was replaced following a decline in performance, with the team eventually relegating to the Regionalliga. Keen to embark on a new chapter, Heide is determined to make a notable impact in Berlin and has ambitions to excel in the second Bundesliga.
