Konrad Michalak leaving Ohod?

Konrad Michalak, a 27-year-old Polish winger, is set to join Panetolikos. He is a right-footed player mainly playing on the left wing. He was previously with Ohod in Saudi Arabia and Zamalek in Egypt last season, totaling 18 appearances with one goal and three assists. Michalak is a product of Legia Warsaw and has played for clubs such as Wisla Plock, Lechia Gdansk, Akhmat Grozny, Ankaragucu, Rizespor, and Konyaspor. His transfer to Panetolikos is confirmed, and he will arrive in Greece on August 4th to start working under coach Yiannis Petrakis.

Konrad Michalak terminated his contract with Zamalek SC due to unpaid wages and exclusion from group training. He has approached FIFA demanding $727,000 for unpaid dues and compensation for material and moral damages. Zamalek SC had a deadline until February 6 to settle obligations but failed to meet it. Ohod Club, his previous club, is also preparing to file a claim with FIFA seeking $1.8 million in damages due to breach of agreement terms by Zamalek SC.

Konrad Michalak joined Zamalek in September 2024 on a loan deal until June 30, 2025. Initially, he received regular playing time, but recently he has not played in the last five league matches. There is speculation about his future as there are currently no opportunities for development at Zamalek.
