Kolbeinn Finnsson, a 26-year-old Icelandic left-back, is leaving FC Utrecht and moving on loan to the Norwegian club Valerenga IF. Valerenga has secured a purchase option for approximately 700 thousand euros. Technical director Jordy Zuidam thanked Kolbeinn Finnsson for his professionalism and wished him success with his new endeavor. Finnsson joined FC Utrecht in August 2024 and has not made any appearances in the Eredivisie in the 2025/2026 season. The defender, who has 14 caps for Iceland, has a contract with the Dutch club until June 2027. His current market value is €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
