Fanatik reports that Kayserispor has reached a principle agreement with Koffi Kouao from Metz. The report states that negotiations with the 27-year-old player concluded positively, with all terms having been agreed upon. Contacts between the clubs and discussions with the player were reportedly completed in a short time. It is expected that Koffi Kouao will travel to Kayseri over the weekend for medical examinations and to sign the official contract. An official announcement of the transfer from Kayserispor is expected soon.

Metz right-back Koffi Kouao, 27, is close to moving to Kayserispor during the winter transfer window. The newspaper L'Equipe indicates that discussions between the Ivorian player and the Turkish club are advanced. However, Kayserispor, who are currently 17th in the Süper Lig, have not yet started negotiations with Metz. Metz faces the risk of receiving a low transfer fee for the player's potential departure because his contract is due to expire in June. Kouao joined Metz in August 2022.
