According to British market expert Ben Jacobs, Lazio has inquired about a potential loan deal with an option to buy for Manchester United's 20-year-old English midfielder Kobbie Mainoo, who is also on the list of another major Italian club, Napoli. The midfielder is reportedly considering a temporary move to find more playing time after being used sparingly by Amorim in the first part of the season. Manchester United views Mainoo as a future prospect and will only authorize a departure if a replacement is brought in. Lazio is observing developments, conscious that several other European clubs are also interested in the player. Mainoo, who has 10 caps for England, is under contract with Manchester United until June 2027 and has a current market value of €45.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In the current Premier League season, he has made 7 appearances without scoring a goal or providing an assist.
