A source familiar with the situation informed 'Championat' that Lokomotiv Moscow has inquired about the conditions for a potential transfer of 24-year-old Russian attacking midfielder Kirill Shchetinin from Rostov. Shchetinin is on a shortlist for the Moscow club that also includes his teammate Mohammad Mohebi, Dmitri Pestryakov from Akron, and Ivan Oleynikov of Krylya Sovetov. It is considered possible that a specific offer will be made for one of these players. Shchetinin joined Rostov in July 2022 and has a contract that runs until June 2028. The midfielder has one cap for Russia, and in 18 Premier Liga appearances during the 2025/2026 season, he has scored one goal and provided one assist. His current market value is €2.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
