Kirill Shchetinin, a 24-year-old attacking midfielder from Russia, has moved from Rostov to Akhmat and signed a four-year contract. The press service for the club from the capital of Chechnya officially announced the transfer and welcomed the player to the team. Shchetinin, who had played for Rostov since the summer of 2021, passed a medical examination and has joined his new club at a training camp in Serbia that began on Thursday. In the 2025/2026 Premier Liga season, he made 29 appearances for Rostov, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists. The Russian international has one cap for his country. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.80m. Lokomotiv Moskva had also been recently linked with the player.
