Kian McMahon-Brown Transfer from Burnley U21 to Shrewsbury Town
Shrewsbury Town have signed Irish forward Kian McMahon-Brown from Burnley on a season-long loan, which is the 18-year-old's first loan move. McMahon-Brown, a winger, was named academy player of the season at Burnley last year after scoring 11 goals for the club's Under-21 side and signed a two-year deal with the Championship team this summer. Manager Cowan described him as a very exciting player with a lot of potential, adding that he offers versatility by being able to play as a number nine or in the number ten position. He has yet to be capped for the Republic of Ireland at U21 level.
