Journalist Maxim Nikitin reported that Krasnodar is interested in acquiring 26-year-old forward Kevin Viveros from Atletico Paranaense as a potential replacement for Jhon Córdoba. Speaking on a podcast, Nikitin explained that there is a possibility Córdoba could leave Russia this summer, particularly if he performs well at the World Cup and attracts a significant offer from a club in Saudi Arabia. Nikitin described Viveros as a Colombian player who is very similar to Córdoba due to his muscular build and similar running style. Viveros joined the Brazilian club in July 2025 and his contract runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €10.00m. He has also been linked with several other clubs, including Watford and Bristol City.
