Camargo stated that Pérez's contract, which ends in December of this year, will not be renewed. He also revealed that both Millonarios and Santa Fe are interested in the player for 2026. Camargo added that he believes Pérez's time at Tolima has concluded and that the club is grateful to him. It is also reported that the player feels his time with the team is over and is seeking a new opportunity. The interest from the two Bogotá clubs is said to be at an exploratory stage. Millonarios is reportedly the most interested party as they are looking to sign another winger. Pérez is considered an option for them, although the club is also evaluating other players.
