Kevin Dodaj Transfer from Vllaznia Shkodër to CSKA Sofia
Kevin Dodaj, a promising 19-year-old Albanian forward, has officially transferred to CSKA from Vllaznia, a club in the Albanian first division. At his new club, he will be wearing the number 22 jersey. Dodaj has completed his medical examinations successfully and has signed a contract with CSKA, the Bulgarian champions with 31 titles to their name. This summer, Dodaj is the third new player to join Dushan Kerkez's team, after Teodor Ivanov and David Seger. Recognized as a great talent in Albanian football, Dodaj demonstrated his potential last season with Vllaznia, playing 55 matches, scoring 9 goals, and providing 4 assists, including contributions in the UEFA Conference League. Additionally, he has earned 7 caps and scored 1 goal for Albania's U21 national team. Prior to finalizing the deal, Dodaj had acknowledged that negotiations with CSKA were underway, marking this move as a significant step in his career. His playing versatility enables him to perform on both wings and as a central forward. Dodaj is also noted as the second Albanian player in CSKA's history, following Altin Haxhi, who played for the club at the beginning of the century.
