Olympique Lyonnais has targeted AJ Auxerre's 21-year-old midfielder Kévin Danois, who has both French and Guadeloupean nationality. There is reportedly competition for his signing developing in France. According to the publication's own information, Stade Rennais and LOSC have also targeted the player. A summer transfer for the French U21 international could be dependent on Auxerre's sporting situation, as the club faces a potential relegation playoff. Interest in Danois also comes from the Premier League, where Newcastle is said to be observing him, as well as from the Bundesliga. Auxerre, who extended the midfielder's contract until 2029, previously rejected an €11 million offer from Bournemouth in 2025. Danois joined the club in July 2022 and has a current market value of €12.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
