According to the publication's sources, Olympique Lyonnais and Stade Rennais are also interested in the player. Interest in Danois exists outside of France, as Newcastle is said to be observing him. The Premier League and Bundesliga have also been mentioned as potential destinations. A summer transfer for the player, who extended his contract until 2029, may be dependent on Auxerre's league performance, as the club would find it difficult to resist offers in the case of relegation. Auxerre's management previously rejected an €11 million bid from Bournemouth for Danois in 2025.
