SC Paderborn and Waldhof Mannheim have signed a transfer agreement for the 21-year-old German-Nigerian centre-forward Kennedy Okpala. An amicable solution was found. Okpala is eligible to play in the first second division match of the year against Holstein Kiel on January 18 at 1:30 PM. Previously, Okpala had unilaterally terminated his contract with the third division club Waldhof Mannheim at the end of the previous year without notice. Waldhof Mannheim objected, and SC Paderborn called upon the DFB arbitration committee. Okpala had a 550,000 euro release clause in Mannheim. This season in the 3.
