Ken Izekor, an 18-year-old German-Nigerian striker, has been loaned by Bayer Leverkusen to the second-division club Eintracht Braunschweig until the season's end, with the agreement including a purchase option. Izekor joined the Leverkusen academy in 2018 and made his professional debut for the club in the Europa League in December 2023, becoming their youngest-ever debutant at 16 years of age. For the U19 team during the current season, he has scored five goals in 15 matches. His contract with Bayer Leverkusen is due to expire on June 30, 2027. At the U17 level, Izekor has represented Germany, scoring 3 goals in 9 appearances. The striker has also recently been linked with FC Volendam.
