Olympiacos is monitoring 17-year-old Brazilian Kauã Prates of Cruzeiro as one of at least two potential options for the left-back position, with Guilherme Arana of Atlético Mineiro also being considered. Prates is regarded as one of the most significant talents in his position and has drawn attention from clubs outside of Brazil, which has reportedly increased Cruzeiro's demands. While Olympiacos has made exploratory contacts and gathered market information, the club has not yet submitted an official offer for the player. Prates has five caps for the Brazil U17 national team, and his contract with Cruzeiro is valid until the end of 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is estimated to be €6.00m.
