Karem Zoabi is set to join Torreense, two years after he joined Rio Ave from Hapoel Jerusalem in a transfer that cost approximately €900,000. An agreement has been reached between Rio Ave and the Liga 2 club for the 20-year-old Israeli forward, who had difficulty establishing himself during his time in Vila do Conde, making five appearances in Liga Portugal during the 25/26 season. The forward has six caps for the Israel U21 national team. The transfer is considered complete, and Zoabi is expected to sign a contract valid until June 2029, with the official announcement contingent on the completion of standard medical examinations. His younger brother, Omri Zoabi, will also go to the club for a trial period with the possibility of joining the U-23 team. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €600k.
