Kamil Kościelny's contract with Stal Rzeszów is due to expire on June 30 and will not be renewed, which will enable him to leave without a transfer fee. According to Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl, the transfer of the central defender to Miedź Legnica is nearing completion. Miedź Legnica, under the guidance of Wojciech Łobodziński, concluded the previous season in fifth place, reaching the playoffs for promotion. Despite being ousted by Wisła Płock, the club is determined to achieve promotion in the forthcoming season. Kościelny, who has participated in 58 matches in the Ekstraklasa, is seen as a potential key player in their promotion efforts. The 33-year-old defender brings a wealth of experience, having previously been part of several teams including Stal Mielec and Raków Częstochowa, and recently made 28 appearances in the I liga, where he scored two goals and provided one assist for Stal Rzeszów.
