Kamil Jakubczyk Transfer from Arka Gdynia to Korona Kielce
Arka Gdynia's 21-year-old Polish midfielder, Kamil Jakubczyk, has attracted interest from other clubs, and the player himself acknowledged to Sportowefakty.wp.pl in October that there had been some phone calls, though he was focused on his performance. In December, Kamil Bętkowski indicated that Korona Kielce was making a strong effort to sign the midfielder but also noted that Arka's management did not plan for him to leave. The owner of Arka Gdynia, Marcin Gruchała, later confirmed in a discussion with 'Przegląd Sportowy' that there are no plans for a winter sale of Jakubczyk, whose contract runs until June 2027. Gruchała explained that the club believes the best approach is for the player to establish his form and position at Arka in the Ekstraklasa during the spring, after which they can consider future steps together. Jakubczyk, who has a current market value of €700k according to Transfermarkt, joined Arka in July 2024 and has been capped once for the Poland U21 team; this season in the Ekstraklasa, he has made 17 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist.
