Amidst reports that Grosicki and Pogon Szczecin have reached an agreement on a new deal, Tomasz Wlodarczyk from Meczyki.pl states that while the situation has become less tense, an agreement on extending the contract has not yet been reached. Grosicki and club owner Haditaghi are expected to meet in person for further negotiations.

According to PogonOnline.pl, Kamil Grosicki will soon extend his contract with Pogon Szczecin. Alex Haditaghi revealed that Grosicki wanted a two-year contract, a salary of 250 thousand PLN per month, and a two-million PLN signing bonus. The owner of Pogon considered these demands excessive. At the end of 2025, Tomasz Wlodarczyk reported that Pogon made a better contract offer to Grosicki.

Kamil Grosicki's contract with Pogon Szczecin expires at the end of the current season. There are public disputes over his high financial demands, which were published by club owner Alex Haditaghi. Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl reported that further talks took place between Grosicki and the club between Christmas and New Year's Eve, and the matter of extending the contract has not been concluded.

Regarding Kamil Grosicki's contract extension at Pogon Szczecin, the winger has received an offer significantly below his expectations. According to Haditaghi, Grosicki's demands include earning 250 thousand per month and million-level bonuses. The Polish international expects a 2-year deal, which would expire when he is 40 years old. Negotiations are ongoing, and club president Haditaghi is increasingly irritated by the public discussion of club matters. Zbigniew Boniek commented that if the numbers quoted by Haditaghi are true, then Kamil values himself highly.

Alex Haditaghi, the owner of Pogon Szczecin, stated that the club's offer to Kamil Grosicki included an identical salary of 160,000 PLN per month. Haditaghi also stated the offer was for a one-year contract with an option to extend if the player participates in 75% of matches for at least 30 minutes. According to Tomasz Włodarczyk from meczyki.pl, the new terms were a one-year deal with an option for another season and were financially similar to the current contract. Włodarczyk also reported that Grosicki wanted a two-year contract, a raise, and a signing bonus, as he believed he deserved more because he is a club legend and an active Poland international. Haditaghi claimed Grosicki demanded a monthly salary of 250,000 PLN, a 2 million PLN signing bonus, and a two-year contract. The negotiations have been described as very difficult. Grosicki is reportedly dissatisfied with the current proposal and feels uncertain about the club's commitment to keeping him.

According to Tomasz Wlodarczyk on the program 'Okno Transferowe', Kamil Grosicki and Pogon Szczecin are not close to reaching an agreement regarding his contract situation. He is demanding a two-year contract and a pay raise from the club's management. Negotiations are reportedly not going well. Grosicki is disappointed with the situation, which includes a conversation with coach Thomas Thomasberg, who did not provide a clear answer about his future role as captain.

Alex Haditaghi, the owner of Pogon Szczecin, expressed certainty that they will extend Kamil Grosicki's contract. Haditaghi said he would like for them to meet around Christmas to finalize it, adding that Grosicki is their captain and will remain so until the last day he can play. Grosicki stated there was only one conversation with the presidents and he is waiting for feedback. He added that he now wants to step away from the matter and take a break, as it was a tough year.

Contract extension talks for Kamil Grosicki will resume after the match against Widzew Łódź. Currently, both parties are not negotiating and will meet after the match. Grosicki said that the important thing was that talks had already started, covering not just the desire for him to stay at Pogoń, but also the conditions. He stated that the last conversation had been the first and he thought it was positive, adding that they were to return to talks after the match with Widzew.

Contract talks have begun between Kamil Grosicki and Pogoń Szczecin, with the player expecting a 2-year deal. According to Dominik Markiewicz from PogońSportNet on X, the second issue is finances, and if the club meets the player's expectations, he will remain the highest-paid player at Pogoń Szczecin. On Monday evening, the player spoke about his future in an interview with Canal+Sport, stating that there was a first meeting with Tan Kesler and Alex Haditaghi and he thinks it was a very positive conversation. Grosicki said he hopes both sides will do everything to close this topic as soon as possible. He added that he really cares and will do everything to extend the contract, but also knows his quality and worth. Grosicki believes they all have to come to an agreement and that the president also wants to extend the contract very much.
