According to Tuttomercato, Catania Football Club has announced the extension of its contract with Kaleb Joel Jiménez Castillo until June 30, 2028.

Catania's sporting director, Ivano Pastore, stated that Kaleb Jimenez is very happy at the club and described the situation as one that will take a long time and requires small details to be resolved. Tuttocalciocatania reports that Pastore said he does not speak of positive feelings, referencing a past situation with Inglese. The outlet also reports that Pastore added that Jimenez wants to stay, which he considers an important starting point. In the last days of December, Kaleb Jimenez commented that he will discuss the matter calmly with his agent and the club after the holidays. Jimenez also stated that he is happy to be there and that playing for the club is a privilege for everyone.

Catania is working on renewing Kaleb Jimenez's contract with a substantial three-year extension.
