Tuttomercato reports that the arrival of Thomas Berenbruch at Avellino has ended the possibility of a move for Kaleb Jiménez. The Catania midfielder had been linked with the club in recent weeks.

Avellino is negotiating to acquire Kaleb Jimenez from Catania. Catania's valuation of the player is 500,000 euros, a figure that remains the same whether or not Cosimo Patierno is part of the deal. Avellino's offer consists of 250,000 euros plus the transfer of Patierno. According to Tuttoavellino.it, both Kaleb Jimenez and Cosimo Patierno have approved the respective transfers, but the two clubs have not yet reached a financial agreement.

Nicolo Schira reported that Avellino is close to signing Kaleb Jimenez from Catania and that the signing is imminent.

A report from Prima Tivvù states that Avellino's sporting director, Mario Aiello, has targeted Kaleb Jimenez. Jimenez is a Spanish player born in 2002 who has performed well for Catania over the past two years. Avellino is reportedly considering a proposal involving a swap for centre-forward Cosimo Patierno, plus a financial adjustment. Patierno has been on the club's transfer list since the market opened. It is said that both Jimenez and Patierno have given their approval for the respective destinations, but the two clubs must now reach a financial agreement to finalize the deal.
