Kaj de Rooij will move from PEC Zwolle to Real Valladolid this summer on a free transfer. The 25-year-old Dutch left winger, whose contract with Zwolle expires after this season, will sign a deal in Spain lasting until mid-2030. De Rooij had previously decided to use his impending free agent status, a choice that was partly influenced by interest from Spain. He joined PEC Zwolle in January 2024. According to Transfermarkt, de Rooij has a current market value of €1.00m. In the current Eredivisie season, de Rooij has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists in 27 appearances.
