According to Africafoot, 20-year-old Dutch forward Kader Koné, who is of Malian origin, is leaving Go Ahead Eagles to join FC Volendam. Koné joined Go Ahead Eagles in 2023 and played for their U21 team. For the 2025/2026 season, he made three appearances in the U21 Division 1 Fall and two in the U21 Division 2 Spring. Although he often trained with the senior team, he did not make a league debut for the first team. The versatile forward is expected to sign in the coming days and will continue his development at Volendam. The club, which was relegated from the Eredivisie, is looking to bring in new players for its upcoming season in the Dutch second division.
