Puszcza Niepołomice announced the loan of Kacper Śmiglewski until the end of June 2026. Before the loan, Cracovia secured an option to extend his contract by another 12 months, as the current contract is valid until mid-next year. The decision for the loan was made due to high competition in the offensive line at Cracovia.

Piotr Rzepecki mentioned that the 20-year-old forward is on the verge of transferring to Puszcza Niepołomice. Since returning from a serious knee injury last year, Śmiglewski is seeking more playing time due to the intense competition at Cracovia. The transfer could be completed at any moment, depending on Śmiglewski's decision.
