In an interview with Tomasz Ćwiąkała, Rafał Gikiewicz stated that the 27-year-old Albanian midfielder, Juljan Shehu, might have once considered a move to Lech or Raków. However, Gikiewicz added that the player's ambitions have now grown. He noted that Shehu, whose contract with Widzew Łódź is set to expire next year, had previously aimed for a transfer to Serie B or a mid-table Spanish team but is now looking at more distant options. Gikiewicz also shared his opinion that Shehu would have no problem playing in the Bundesliga. The player is currently valued at €1.20m by Transfermarkt, and Turkish club Konyaspor has also been linked with a potential move.
