Antonio Mohamed, the coach of Toluca, desires to strengthen the goalkeeping position by bringing Julio González to the team. Mohamed is not satisfied with the current goalkeepers, Pau López and Luis García, and sees González as a more reliable option. Mohamed is working to convince the Toluca management to sign González, who previously played under him at Pumas and was an undisputed starter. González has also played in a Copa América with the national team last year. Currently, Julio González is with Puebla, following a controversial departure from Pumas.
