Yüksel Yıldırım, president of Samsunspor, stated that they could not reach an agreement with Olivier Ntcham and that because he did not accept a salary reduction, they decided to part ways. Ntcham, a 30-year-old Cameroonian central midfielder, did not find an agreement with the management on contractual terms. Samsunspor has decided to separate from Olivier Ntcham. He joined the club in August 2023 and his contract is due to expire in June 2026. Ntcham has 16 caps and one goal for Cameroon, and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.80m. He has been linked with AEK Athens, Nice, and PAOK.
