The journalist mentioned that while Millonarios is not offering the player, Tolima might contact the club to inquire about the conditions for a transfer. Pinzón noted that the situation is not simple, as there is a difference between the coaching staff's interest and the opinion of Tolima's management. This is reportedly because Vargas did not leave the club on good terms when he previously moved to Millonarios. It was also stated that Vargas, who has a contract until December 2026, is not comfortable with his role as a substitute and wants more playing time ahead of the World Cup. Pinzón added that Millonarios cannot let the player go for free and warned that if they wait until the World Cup, he will leave on a free transfer.
