Juan Cabrera Transfer from SpVgg Greuther Fürth to Vaduz

1h ago

Juan Cabrera, a 23-year-old offensive midfielder, has been signed by newly promoted Vaduz from German second-division club Greuther Fürth, joining alongside his teammate Lado Akhalaia as one of the club's first two summer additions. This past season, the Uruguayan-German dual citizen made three brief appearances in the 2. Bundesliga, playing mostly in the fourth-tier Regionalliga Bayern, where he scored five goals in 14 games. In a media release, sporting director Franz Burgmeier stated that Vaduz had been tracking Cabrera for a considerable time before an opportunity to sign him permanently arose. Burgmeier described the player as being very dangerous in front of goal with a strong finish and good physical attributes due to his 188-centimeter height, adding that the club is convinced of his qualities.
