The club, which is led by Luis Enrique, is closely monitoring the academy midfielder and believes he aligns with their strategy of building a team around top young European talents. Hernandez became a part of FC Barcelona Atlètic in July 2024. He has also represented Spain at the U19 level, where he earned six caps and scored one goal. During the current league season, he has made seven appearances, resulting in one goal and one assist. Transfermarkt estimates his market value to be €200k.
