Brazilian midfielder Juan Alvina Bezerra, aged 22, has departed from Alexandria. As reported by TaToTake, the silver medalist of the UPL has completed the sale of Bezerra. He is set to continue his career with Zamalek, an African club that paid $2 million for the young winger. The contract is set for a duration of four years. This transfer has become the most expensive in Alexandria's history, surpassing the previous record held by Alexander Martynyuk, who transferred to Metalist 1925 earlier this summer for 1.5 million euros. During the 2024/25 season, Bezerra featured in 26 matches at club level, netting 6 goals and making 5 assists. Previously, Bezerra had turned down a move to Aris. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €1.50 million, and he had also been associated with potential moves to Ferencváros and Olympiakos Piraeus.
