Jørgen Strand Larsen leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers?
Wolves want to sell 25-year-old Norwegian centre-forward Jorgen Strand Larsen while a valuable transfer fee can still be obtained for him. The club is conscious of the financial implications if they delay a sale. A sale before relegation would protect their finances and allow them to reshape the squad. Larsen, who joined Wolves in July 2025 and has a contract until 2030, has scored one goal in 17 Premier League appearances this season. The forward has 24 caps for Norway and has been linked with several clubs, including Newcastle United and West Ham. In December 2025, reports suggested a potential €80 million offer from Newcastle. West Ham's interest was linked with a £40 million price tag. Last summer, Wolves reportedly rejected bids of up to £55 million for the player. His current Transfermarkt market value is €40.00m.
