Voetbalnieuws.be reports that Josimar Alcocer has been sold by KVC Westerlo to Sparta Praag. The club has received approximately four million euros for the transfer of the Costa Rican.

An agreement between two parties will see Josimar Alcocer leave Westerlo for Sparta Prague for a transfer fee of 4 million euros plus bonuses. According to Claudio Reulens, Westerlo receives around 4 million euros plus bonuses for the player's move to Sparta Prague.

After three seasons with Westerlo, 21-year-old Costa Rican international winger Josimar Alcócer is moving to the Czech Republic. The player has reached an agreement with top club Sparta Prague. Last season, he contributed three goals and three assists in 26 league appearances. Alcócer, who has 34 caps and 7 goals for Costa Rica, is leaving Het Kuipje despite having a contract with the Belgian club until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m.
