Joshua Quarshie, a 20-year-old central defender, has signed a contract with FC Southampton until 2029. Southampton, a club recently relegated from the Premier League, reportedly paid a transfer fee of 3.5 million Euros. Quarshie expressed his happiness with the move, stating that he felt Southampton was the right club for him from the very beginning. Johannes Spors, Southampton's Technical Director, praised Quarshie as a talented young player with a lot of experience for his age, having already played over 80 matches in his career.

Previously loaned to Greuther Fürth in the second half of the season, Quarshie is transferring to FC Southampton according to Fabrizio Romano.
