Joshua Quarshie leaving TSG Hoffenheim?
Joshua Quarshie, a 20-year-old central defender, has signed a contract with FC Southampton until 2029. Southampton, a club recently relegated from the Premier League, reportedly paid a transfer fee of 3.5 million Euros. Quarshie expressed his happiness with the move, stating that he felt Southampton was the right club for him from the very beginning. Johannes Spors, Southampton's Technical Director, praised Quarshie as a talented young player with a lot of experience for his age, having already played over 80 matches in his career.
Joshua Quarshie, a 20-year-old center-back, is leaving TSG Hoffenheim permanently. Previously loaned to Greuther Fürth in the second half of the season, Quarshie is transferring to FC Southampton according to Fabrizio Romano. The Premier League relegated team is paying a transfer fee of 3.5 million Euros. Quarshie has reportedly already completed the medical examination. He played only one professional match for Hoffenheim.
Joshua Quarshie is currently on loan at SpVgg Greuther Fürth from TSG Hoffenheim. He has attracted interest from clubs in the Bundesliga and England. His performance has stabilized the defense at Fürth, and he has been a regular starter under coach Jan Siewert. An extension of his loan beyond the summer is not an option, and his contract with TSG Hoffenheim runs until 2027.
