Josh Laqeretabua Transfer from Charlton Athletic U21 to Dorking Wanderers

1h ago

Charlton Athletic academy graduate Josh Laqeretabua has joined Enterprise National League South side Dorking Wanderers on a short-term loan. The 20-year-old Fiji youth international, who made his professional debut in September 2023, has made 10 appearances for Charlton across all competitions. This follows a loan spell last season at Bath City, another National League South team, where he played 12 times and scored his first senior goal. Charlton's Head of Individual Development, Dave Huzzey, stated that the club was pleased with the move, and that it continues a strong relationship with Dorking from successful loans last season. Huzzey added that Laqeretabua is held in high esteem at Charlton and had made a positive impression on Dorking manager Marc White and his staff during a pre-season match involving Charlton's U21s.
