Trabzonspor is interested in KV Mechelen's 24-year-old Spanish defender, José Marsà. The defender is likely to leave this summer as he feels ready for a new step and has only one year remaining on his contract. German Bundesliga club FC Köln is also reportedly a candidate to sign him. During the 2025/2026 season, Marsà made 23 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, scoring one goal and providing three assists, and also featured in 10 Champions' Play-Offs matches. Marsà has a contractual clause that is not excessively high, and KV Mechelen could make a significant profit, having acquired him from FC Andorra two years ago for €160,000. His market value is currently €3.50m, according to Transfermarkt.
