Spanish centre-forward José Luis Morales, 38, will not continue with Levante next season and is ending his association with the club after two campaigns in this second spell as a player. Morales had a contract until June 2026 with an option to extend if the team was in Primera División, but he decided not to enter into negotiations with the club's sporting management because of the limited playing time he had this season, particularly since the arrival of Luís Castro as coach. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €300k.
