CSKA has shown interest in Botev (Vratsa)'s 24-year-old American attacking midfielder, Jose Gallegos, who also holds Mexican nationality. The midfielder made 15 appearances in the autumn, contributing one goal and one assist. CSKA coach Hristo Yanev, who is familiar with the player's qualities from his time at Okolchitsa, had intended to bring Gallegos to the club. However, the plan was discontinued after Isaac Sole was signed. Gallegos continues to prepare with the Vratsa team for the spring season, and CSKA will continue to monitor him. He joined Botev Vratsa in July 2025, and his contract is set to expire on 30/06/2026. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €500k.
