Spanish centre-back José Fontán, 26, is a target for Granada to strengthen the center of defense. Ignacio Beristain, who now works for the club, is very familiar with the market from his time at Estoril and Rio Ave. Exploratory contacts are reportedly underway for the Arouca player. The player has a contract until 2027. Fontán joined Arouca in July 2024 and has been capped four times by Spain at U21 level. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €1.80m.
