According to the journalist, the personal arrangement is already completed, the offered contract is for four years, and negotiations are expected to be completed in the next few hours, before the match between Pumas and Necaxa.

The Portland Timbers have submitted an offer to Pumas for 23-year-old Colombian defensive midfielder José Caicedo and are awaiting a response. Portland has agreed to personal terms with Caicedo for a four-year contract. Caicedo joined Pumas in July 2023 and has made 18 domestic league appearances this season. His contract with the Mexican club is valid until June 2027, and his market value is €4.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Santos has also been linked with the player.
