Joris Kayembe, a 31-year-old DR Congo and Belgian left-back, is under contract at KRC Genk until mid-2026. Kayembe stated to Het Belang van Limburg that discussions will take place sometime during the following month, and that things are moving fast, he feels at home, he receives a lot of appreciation, including from the supporters, and is therefore open to everything. Racing Genk has an option to extend his contract by one year, but Kayembe wants more certainty. Negotiations will have to take place.
