Marseille made a €20 million offer to Flamengo for the transfer of attacking midfielder Jorge Carrascal. The Brazilian club rejected the offer for the 27-year-old Colombian international as they want to keep the current squad intact. Carrascal, who has 21 caps and 2 goals for his country, joined Flamengo in August 2025 and his contract is valid until June 2029. Flamengo had previously acquired Carrascal from Dynamo Moscow for €12 million. According to information on the Transfermarkt portal, the footballer's market value is €9 million.
