Jordi Sánchez, Wisła Kraków's 31-year-old Spanish top scorer, will move to Pogoń Szczecin after the release clause in his contract was activated. According to Wisła Kraków's president, Jarosław Królewski, Pogoń Szczecin and the player jointly triggered the clause, and Sánchez agreed to the transfer. Królewski stated that the club was informed of the offer by the player's agent the day before and, despite the club's efforts until the last hours, was unable to retain the forward. He also mentioned he would not share his personal thoughts on the situation. Jordi Sánchez's contract with Wisła Kraków was valid until the end of June of the next year and contained an option to extend for another twelve months. The centre-forward joined Wisła in January 2026 and has a current Transfermarkt market value of €250k.
