Jordan Veretout is a 33-year-old French midfielder who plays for Al Arabi in Qatar. The midfielder described his previous three years at Roma as spectacular, noting that his family was very happy there and that leaving was difficult after winning the Conference League. He explained that his departure for Marseille happened after the club's offer arrived, as he and Roma had been unable to find an agreement on a contract renewal. Veretout said that if Roma called, his wife would want to return to the capital, and he feels he is not finished as a player and can still contribute if the club wants him. Veretout, who has six caps for France, joined his current club in July 2025 and has a contract until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m.
