According to transfer specialist journalist César Luis Merlo, the León board has agreed on the loan of 21-year-old Colombian goalkeeper Jordan García to Universidad de Chile. The move will be a six-month loan, with an option to extend it to a full year if the player achieves certain objectives outlined in his contract. The departure of Jordan García is part of a plan by head coach Javier Gandolfi for him to gain playing time in South American football and to open up a foreign player slot on the team. García became a Club León FC player in January 2026 and is under contract until the end of 2029. He has made 19 appearances for the Colombia U20 team and his current Transfermarkt market value is €2.50m.
